Saturday 4/14 (Rain Date: Sunday, 4/15) Douglas Orchard & Farm
The Douglas Orchard & Farm is looking for students to help rake and clean up the orchard before the grass starts growing.  Students will be under the supervision of Aaron and Nick.  Students will use rakes and pick up branches and sticks and put them in trucks.  

Up to 12 students are needed on 
Saturday, 4/14 from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM.

Friday 2/16-Sunday, 2/18 Douglas Youth Basketball Tournament
The Douglas Youth Basketball program will be hosting there annual basketball tournament starting 
Friday 2/16 - 2/18.

Staff needs to be capable of working concession, admission, running time clock and
keeping a basketball scorebook.

Gyms at the Municipal Center, Middle School and High School will be used.

Hours needed to staff -
Friday 4:30 PM-10:00 PM
Saturday 7:00 AM-8:30 PM
Sunday 7:00 AM-7:30 PM

***Any student that fulfills Community Service requirements and has shown a good work ethic will be considered for paid hours during the tournament.***


Wednesday 11/22 Douglas Municipal Center Gym 12:00 PM - 2:00

We will be cleaning the gym in preparation for the start of The Town Basketball Season. Please sign up during your lunch on Monday or Tuesday. I will have a clipboard on a table.

We will meet at gym at 12 on Wednesday - students will sign in when they arrive. Please bring your Community Service sheet with you.

What​ ​you​ ​can​ ​expect:
Scraping bleachers
Sweeping bleachers
Cleaning under bleachers
Washing mats on walls
Cleaning basketball closets
Cleaning glass doors
Vacuuming carpets
Washing stairs in foyer
Cleaning / organizing backroom
Organizing first aid items

What will NOT be allowed - there will be no basketball playing or shooting of balls - this is not the time.


Volunteer at the Douglas Elementary School Library Book Fair!  Earn community service hours helping kids select books, assist Fair shoppers, read stories, set up and tear down displays, and more!
